Every new patient is required to book an initial consultation and treatment appointment which is 60 minutes in duration. 

The following occurs during your first visit:

- A thorough health history is taken

- An intake is performed to identify your concerns

- An assessment is performed to identify the source of your concerns and the tissues involved so that a treatment plan can be developed

- Treatment is provided with remaining time if it permits (some cases are more complex than others)

- Self-care is recommended

- Treatment plan is discussed 

At some point during your visits a full reassessment of your concern is required in order to determine if the treatment plan that has been implemented is achieving the results desired. This appointment is structured very similar to an Initial Assessment & Treatment appointment but intake and assessment may not take as long (60 minute length).

Reassessment is also required if you have been absent from treatment for an extended period of time 6-12 months and this can depend on the initial concern and how it may have changed during the absence.
